Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers offer a non-surgical solution to restore volume, smooth imperfections, and enhance your natural beauty with minimal downtime. Dermal fillers are Hyaluronic Acid (HA) based (a substance naturally present in the human body) and gradually break down over time, making the results temporary and reversible. Effects can last from six months to over a year, depending on the filler used and the area treated. At Haus of Eden we practice ethically and support your aesthetic journey prioritising natural results, to ensure patient safety and gradually restore lost volume over time.

Where can Dermal Filler be used and am I a suitable candidate?
Dermal Fillers can be used to treat multiple facial concerns where there appears to be a loss of elasticity and/or volume in the skins appearance. Not only are Hyaluronic Acid (HLA) Dermal Fillers indicated for cosmetic treatments, they can also be effective in addressing facial changes due to tooth loss, surgery and addressing several other concerns. Some of the typical areas to treat are the lips, nasolabial folds (nose to mouth lines) and the marionette lines (mouth to chin). After the area is numbed using a topical anaesthetic, HLA is injected under the surface of the skin to replace volume, restore texture and fill wrinkles/lines and is a widely used facial augmentation treatment.

At Haus of Eden, we are fully inclusive of all clients regardless of age (over 18 years), gender or life stage. We are particularly passionate about supporting our neurodivergent clients and those in perimenopause/menopause from both an aesthetic, and an overall wellbeing perspective. Our Nurse is skilled and knowledgable about the impact menopause can have upon the body, mind and overall wellbeing. Everyone is welcome!

What is Hyaluronic Acid and is it safe?
Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring substance produced in the human body. Scientifically it is described as a viscous sugar molecule found in higher concentrations in the skin, joints and connective tissue which plays a significant role in wound healing and stimulating collagen production. In layman's terms it is the skins scaffolding. When we are young our HLA production is optimum (hence why our skin is plump and healthy looking). However, as we get older (and particularly with the onset of menopause), our HLA supply depletes - the result of which is the appearance of aging and skin/tissue laxity. Other factors impacting HLA production include smoking, poor diet, free radicals and sun exposure. This decrease in HLA production can present as loss of collagen, sagging and crepey skin often with a sallow dull appearance. Loss of volume causes deeper lines to develop in areas such as the jawline, cheeks and lips resulting in concerns such as 'jowls', deep smile lines and lines around the mouth. In some cases, Dermal filler can also be used to reshape the nose, cheek and chin areas to correct projection or asymmetry.

What are the benefits of treatment?
At Haus of Eden we ONLY use CE marked and UK licensed products of the highest quality. HLA Dermal Fillers can restore not only volume and elasticity, but also confidence! We have the opportunity to augment, shape, correct, rebalance and add volume to facial features. The benefits of HLA treatments include the ability to target your particular areas of concern and tailor your Dermal Filler package to your individual needs. At Haus of Eden, your Nurse will administer only the highest quality products to focus on your safety and optimal results, ensuring you are fully informed about your treatment before you are booked in. Dermal Fillers have gained significant popularity for good reason! Restoring lost volume, plumping the skin and lips, enhancing facial features and even reducing the appearance of scars are but a few of the amazing benefits of Dermal Filler treatment. Some clients opt for facial sculpting and others prefer to rebalance asymmetric features or add minimal volume. At Haus of Eden we assess each clients individual facial anatomy and promote the most natural outcomes. Your restoration is a journey, not a race. In some cases clients may not be suitable candidates for dermal filler, however we will always ensure that we listen to concerns and educate clients about potential alternative treatments.
